What is BioDT?

The Biodiversity Digital Twin (BioDT) project is at the forefront of creating Digital Twins (DTs) for biodiversity. A Digital Twin is a virtual model of real-world entities and ecosystems, enabling detailed simulation and analysis. BioDT uses cutting-edge technologies like High-Performance Computing (HPC), FAIR data principles, and open APIs to model biodiversity in unprecedented ways. This approach helps predict biodiversity trends, inform conservation strategies, and support sustainable development
